TTI Global Resources (TTI), established in 2001, is an international supply chain manager for the production of socks, focusing on a complete product life cycle from product design to product delivery. While recognizing the rapidly growing international network and communication needs, TTI is providing quality leg wear in a timely and cost effective manner to its worldwide customers.
TTI was operating from a server based program, specific to the industry, with a view to managing the initial development through production tracking. As the business grew by 300% in its first three years, they opened offices in three different countries and realized the limitations of the system. The challenge TTI presented to Dynamic Quest and the APTS system, was managing the mapping of both historical and active data to an integrated system without loosing visibility or creating any disruptions to the supply chain.
Dynamic Quest was to develop a system fulfilling the original vision of TTI to fully manage their business from “wing to wing”. The desired system would ensure global access to the entire supply chain, creating an environment to foster teamwork. Perhaps the biggest challenge of this project was the creation of a unique system supporting the entire product life cycle, yet flexible enough to meet the current and future needs of the company.
The new system was developed to meet the future needs of TTI. This system serves as a communication channel, replacing the previous method of communication via approximately one thousand e-mails weekly. This new system ensures seamless integration between all departments within the company, from the design/development stages to manufacturing plants overseas, and from the final sales and shipping information to the end client.
